Rent & Payments

All lease charges, including rent and any applicable utilities or other charges, are due on the 1st of each month. We have made paying rent simple with multiple payment options in your Resident Portal. Click here to access the How to Pay Rent Guide.

💡 Pro Tip: Set up AutoPay so you never have to think about it. Once enrolled, your rent is automatically paid on time each month — no reminders, no late charges, no stress.

 

 

Maintenance Requests

Need a Repair? We make it easy to request maintenance and get the help you need. Reporting issues early keeps your home safe and in good condition – and helps prevent bigger problems down the line.

You can submit maintenance requests or check the status of existing requests anytime through your Resident Portal.

💡 Pro Tip: When scheduling a request, you can also give us permission to enter (by clicking that checkbox in the request) if you won’t be home during your appointment.

 

 

Living in an HOA Community

If your home is part of a community with a Homeowners Association (HOA), there are a few extra details to review before and after move-in. HOAs help maintain the quality, safety, and appearance of the neighborhood, but they often come with specific rules and approval processes that residents need to follow.

Post Move-In Checklist

Once you’ve settled in, take a few minutes to complete the steps below to make sure everything is documented, set up, and ready for a great experience.

Your Post Move-In Checklist helps you stay organized and ensures everything is properly documented after you arrive.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Complete your Move-In Walkthrough — Go room by room and note any cosmetic concerns. Upload the checklist to your Resident Portal within 14 days of your lease start date.
  2. Know your home — Review local trash and recycling schedules and, if applicable, any HOA rules posted in your Resident Portal.
  3. Get the most out of your Resident Portal — Log in to pay rent, set up AutoPay, submit maintenance requests, or message our team directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is my rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. You can make a payment anytime through your Resident Portal, or enroll in AutoPay for a simple, automatic option.

My home has a smart lock. How do I use it?

If your home is equipped with a smart lock, download the Rently Smart Home App to manage access. You can create your own personal code, add guest codes, and unlock your door directly from your phone for easy, keyless entry.

Where can I find more helpful information about my home?

Your Resident Guide includes maintenance tips, responsibilities, and answers to common questions to help you settle in comfortably.

I live in an HOA community. Where do I find the rules?

You can find your HOA guidelines in your Resident Portal under ‘Documents’. Our HOA Resources page also explains what to expect and how to avoid violations.

How do I request maintenance?

Submit a maintenance request through your Resident Portal as soon as you notice any issue. Letting us know early helps us resolve it quickly.

Do I need to be home for maintenance visits?

Not always. When submitting your request, you can give permission to enter if you will not be home. Please make sure pets are secured before your appointment.
